The film The Tree depicts the grief and renewal of a family following the sudden death of the father. Through the story of a daughter who believes her late father’s spirit resides in a great tree, and her mother who supports her, the film explores family love in the face of loss and the possibility of emotional recovery.
As in Aesop’s fables, the story reminds us that nothing is perfect; humans live with flaws and imperfections, yet can nurture love and bonds.
