Many people experience intense nervousness or fear when speaking or singing in front of others. So-called “stage fright” and social anxiety are common psychological experiences.


The film Coyote Ugly (2000) follows a young aspiring singer-songwriter who suffers from stage fright. Pursuing her dream in New York, she encounters a group of distinctive friends and gradually begins to break out of her shell.


Despite failures and setbacks, the protagonist gathers the courage to stand on stage again. Her journey invites us to reflect on the fear of appearing before others and the inner strength required to overcome it.
