The world has changed dramatically in recent years. The COVID-19 pandemic, ongoing wars and conflicts, and natural disasters have left us living alongside unprecedented uncertainty. These societal upheavals are steadily shaping the human mind as well.

In this article, set at the turning point of spring 2024, we reflect on changes in society and the state of people’s mental health as seen from the clinical field. Amid ongoing turmoil, it also turns our attention to nature and the small joys that continue to support daily life, inviting us to reconsider how we move forward.
